HØST MØN

Høst Møn is an intimate, small-scale music festival taking place on the beautiful island Møn. The island is a certified Dark Sky area (meaning they work to minimize light pollution), making the task of lighting Høst Møn a fun and important one.

Noga designs the lighting to be an integral part of the guests’ experience and at the same time to support critical infrastructure and safety. By using mostly solar- and battery-driven light sources; reworked everyday items and theatre lighting tricks, the festival area comes alive inspired by the Dark Sky principles.

In addition to taking care of the light, Noga is part of Høst Møn’s core team, contributing to the overall development and production of the festival since 2019.

ANUTOPIA

“An anatopism is something that is out of its proper place. Utopism is the seemingly unreachable state of perfection. In Anutopia we visit and investigate these two poles and all which may exist between them.”

After years of social- and cultural distance, Anutopia invited guests and artists on a special trip to an alternative future full of opportunities, quirks and softness, which through gastronomy, rituals, light, music and sound wanted to challenge our collective understanding of the future we are all part of creating.

NOGA contributed with an interactive light scenography, which engaged participants in designing and bringing forth the atmosphere of the dining space themselves, in order to investigate how working together towards a desirable future might feel and look.

THE GALLERY

The Gallery presented nine experimental light art pieces made by young designers from Aalborg University's master programme in lighting design, who was given the task of developing site-specific artworks on the theme 'supernature' for the windows of a historical building in central Copenhagen.

The Gallery wished to present the students with a chance to show their work to the public during the corona pandemic, and at the same time offer a platform where hands-on light experiments could attract new people to the field of lighting.

The Gallery was a concept created for the storefront of Gammel Strand 26-28 by Noga in collaboration with lighting designer Mariliis Kundla, as part of Copenhagen Light Festival 2021.
